Jack Daniel’s Launches New Batches of 12-Year-Old and 10-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey

Jack Daniel’s 12-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 2 and 10-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 3, available now in limited quantities across the US, are the latest releases in the brand’s annual Aged Series

Lynchburg, Tennessee (February 5, 2024) – The Jack Daniel Distillery today announced the release of Batch 2 of its 12-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey and Batch 3 of its 10-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey. The expressions are the latest in the Jack Daniel’s Aged Series, an annual release of age-stated expressions launched in 2021 to honor the brand’s whiskey-making traditions.

“Our Jack Daniel’s Aged Series has given us the opportunity to produce modern whiskeys that simultaneously capture the essence of the liquid Mr. Jack created over 150 years ago,” said Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller. “These releases embody the artistry, passion and craftsmanship that define Jack Daniel’s legacy, and I’m excited for our friends to enjoy this year’s batches of special whiskeys.”

While batches within the Aged Series will have slight variations, the predominant notes of oak, butterscotch and tobacco can be found in each whiskey. Jack Daniel’s 12-Year-Old Batch 2 has predominant notes of pipe tobacco, oak, and butterscotch, while Jack Daniel’s 10-Year-Old Batch 3 is oak-forward with layers of fruit and cocoa.

Both expressions were charcoal mellowed and aged in new, toasted, and charred American white oak barrels first in the upper floors of our barrelhouse before being relocated to the lower ricks to extend the maturation process. Both share the same grain bill as the classic Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye.

Jack Daniel’s 12-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 2 is offered at 107 proof (53.5% abv) and Jack Daniel’s 10-Year-Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 3 at 97 proof (48.5% abv). They are available in limited quantities across the United States this month in 700 mL bottles for suggested retail prices of $94.99 and $84.99, respectively.

Lynchburg, Tennessee (September 6, 2023) – The Jack Daniel Distillery introduces

to expect and seek out from our rye releases.”

Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye has a grain bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted

barrels. It opens with notes of dried fruit followed by lingering hints of toffee, imparting a
bold, complex, and balanced taste with a rye spice finish.

With packaging inspired by the original design of the 1895 Jack Daniel’s Tennessee
Whiskey bottle, Jack Daniel’s Bonded Rye will be available in 700mL bottles across the
U.S. for a suggested retail price of $31.99. It will be available for pre-sale through

“We are excited to introduce the quintessential Jack & Coke cocktail to consumers in a consistent, convenient and portable format,” said Dallas Cheatham, Jack Daniel’s RTD Brand Director. “While Jack & Coke is a cocktail consumers have known and enjoyed across the world, with origins dating back more than a century, we are proud to officially launch Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola RTD and bring these two iconic brands together in a RTD format for the first time in the U.S.”

“This launch is a milestone moment for both Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel’s – it is following what people have been doing with these two iconic brands for generations and demonstrates our commitment to innovation from the simple to the complex,” said Dan White, Chief of New Revenue Streams for The Coca-Cola Company. “We are really excited about this classic cocktail being offered in a new and exciting way through our relationship with Jack Daniel’s and their distributor system.”

The can and packaging, which features two of the world’s most recognized trademarks in “Coca-Cola” and “Jack Daniel’s,” will include clear responsibility symbols stating that the beverage is to be enjoyed responsibly and only by consumers of legal drinking age. Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola RTD will adhere to responsible marketing practices held by Jack Daniel’s and The Coca-Cola Company.

The alcohol beverage volume (ABV) is 7% in the US and a version featuring Coca-Cola Zero-Sugar will also be available beginning in May. Both will be available at retailers nationwide for a SRP of $12.99 per 4-pack.

Jack Daniel’s was established in 1866 in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The Coca-Cola brand was established in 1886 in Atlanta.

Jack Daniel’s branding will be featured on the nose of McLaren’s 2023 F1 cars as well as on the driver’s overalls and pit crew’s helmets. McLaren and Jack Daniel’s will host a variety of events and media and hospitality programs throughout the 2023 F1 season. The two brands will also collaborate to develop McLaren and Jack Daniel’s-themed programs at retail outlets as well as create custom marketing and advertising campaigns including a special edition bottle in select markets in 2023.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jack Daniel’s to the McLaren F1 Team,” said Zak Brown, McLaren Racing CEO. “Together we will look to reach new audiences as well as hosting a variety of events together. 2023 is an important year for McLaren as we commemorate our 60th birthday, and we are excited to celebrate with an iconic brand like Jack Daniel’s by our side.”
