(80 proof) Jack Daniel’s Black Label is the world-famous whiskey awarded seven international gold medals, including the one collected by Mr. Jack Daniel himself at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis. It received highest honors then as the “world’s best whiskey.” The secret of its international success is the unique taste that comes from our old-time charcoal-mellowing process. Today, Jack Daniel’s Black Label continues to make new friends around the world. And folks still have plenty of nice things to say about it. Because it is matured to peak perfection, this well-rounded and balanced medium amber whiskey has a pleasant mix of caramel, vanilla and wood notes.
(80 proof) During his life, Mr. Jack Daniel tried his hand at charcoal mellowing his whiskey twice to heighten the benefits imparted by hard sugar maple charcoal. Based on Mr. Jack’s early notion, the Jack Daniel Distillery introduced this whiskey in 1988, because some occasions call for a gentler Jack. Gentleman Jack is charcoal mellowed twice, once before and once after aging. It’s been called Tennessee’s answer to a fine cognac…silky and soft…caramel and fruit (black currant and mandarin), laced with vanilla and smoke. It’s a light amber, delicate, yet balanced Tennessee whiskey. Folks in Lynchburg simply admire it for its “gentle” farewell.
(94 proof) Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel whiskey is as individual as the variations in the oak wood from barrel to barrel. As a result, bottles drawn from individual barrels will offer subtle differences in nose, color and taste. It is a dark amber single barrel whiskey, that rests in the upper floors of the warehouses where the whiskey’s color and taste deepen and mature an extra measure. Master Distiller Chris Fletcher and a team of tasters select the whiskey when it reaches its peak maturity. They taste for a singular combination–the robust flavor of a single barrel and the smooth character of Jack Daniel’s. What finally emerges from the wood is a bold full-bodied whiskey with heightened flavors of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel. Stands up to the richest of cigars.
Single Barrel Rye
(94 proof) Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Rye whiskey is our first new grain bill since 1866. With a unique 70 percent rye, 18 percent corn and 12 percent malted barley mash, this historic creation has a grain-forward character that marries the smoothness of Jack Daniel's with the spicy warmth of rye. Interesting flavors of dried fruit mingle with light toasted oak notes to create a rich, spicy taste and enjoyable, lingering finish. It is a big, bold rye whiskey that does not overpower; best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or mixed in a Sazerac or Old Fashioned.
Single Barrel Barrel Proof
(Proof ranges from 125 to 140) Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Barrel Proof whiskey is bottled straight from the barrel at its full proof. Matured in the upper floors of our warehouses, the result is an intense, smooth and remarkably varied whiskey. Single Barrel Barrel Proof is our first cask-strength offering that kicks Jack Daniel's trademark toasted oak and vanilla flavors up a notch. It is deep amber in color, with a robust, but not overpowering, taste. Best enjoyed neat, with a splash of water, or mixed in a Boulevardier.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye
(90 proof) Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye is a straight rye whiskey that combines the distinct flavor of rye grain and the famous smooth character of Jack Daniel's. One of the first new recipes in over 150 years, Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye has a mash bill of 70 percent rye, 18 percent corn and 12 percent malted barley. It is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal, and the result is a bold, spicy rye with a soft finish. This well-rounded rye whiskey hints of sweet caramel and dry baking spice, with a peppery rye character on the back end. Its soft aroma is a mix of sweet fruit layered with spicy rye and oak. It is a well-balanced rye offering that can be enjoyed on the rocks or as part of a refreshing cocktail. Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye is available in all 50 states.
Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey
(70 proof) Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey, introduced in 2011, is crafted with world-renowned Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey. The whiskey is mingled with a proprietary honey liqueur resulting in a unique, smooth offering. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey brings together two complementary tastes in a new way. The quality and character of Tennessee Honey is in keeping with the Jack Daniel’s tradition. The flavor characteristics of honey greatly complement Jack Daniel’s uniquely smooth charcoal-mellowed character. With hints of honey and other natural flavors creating a complex taste profile, the product is unlike any other offering in the honey category. Serve chilled straight or in drinks with other mixers like lemonade, tea or ginger ale.
Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold
(90 proof) In honor of a legendary friendship that stretched more than half a century, the Jack Daniel Distillery released Sinatra Select in 2013. A super premium whiskey with a bold oak character and smooth vanilla finish, Sinatra Select is matured in proprietary oak barrels. The barrels are crafted to provide a dark rich amber color and extra full character to evoke the bold nature of Frank Sinatra himself. Hand selected by Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, Sinatra Select has more oak and spice notes, but with the sweet vanilla and caramel notes you’d expect from Old No. 7. This exclusive outpouring of the distiller’s craft is destined to become a classic.
