Chris Fletcher is the master distiller and director of quality at the Jack Daniel Distillery. In this role, he uses his sensory skills and extensive knowledge of the whiskey-making process to supervise and ensure the world’s top-selling whiskey label is both in constant supply and true to Jack’s guiding belief that “Every day we make it, we’ll make it the best we can.” 

Lexie Phillips was hired as assistant distiller at the Jack Daniel Distillery in 2020. In this role, she uses her full knowledge of distillery history and the whiskey-making process to serve as a collaborator to Master Distiller Chris Fletcher on whiskey innovation. She travels as a brand ambassador to conduct tasting events and brand education, and also conducts in-depth distillery tours for visitors to Lynchburg. 

Byron Copeland is Manager of Leadership Acceleration and Maturation Innovation at the Jack Daniel Distillery. He was the first participant in the Nearest and Jack Advancement Initiative’s Leadership Acceleration Program. From the time he entered the program in 2020, Byron has gotten a taste of all aspects of the whiskey-making industry – from innovation to research and development, quality control and packaging.

ET has spent years behind the bar mixing drinks at some of Los Angeles’ most famous, and in some cases infamous, watering holes – most recently, Jones Hollywood. In the early 90’s ET created the Jägermeister based shot “Surfer on Acid.” His taste and inventive spirits have evolved and over the years, ET’s been featured in countless local and national press for his cocktails and innovations and as he likes to say, “Everything I learned behind bars has helped shape where I am right now, and I am grateful for it.”

Jed Lirette was named Senior Ambassador Tour Guide at the Jack Daniel Distillery in January 2019.  Every day looks a little different for Jed, whether he’s conducting VIP tastings and barrel selections, leading media tours or participating in a Jack Daniel’s commercial. When he’s not making friends for the brand in Lynchburg, Jed represents the distillery at events in Nashville and beyond.
